Bio

Paul Gould is a dedicated educator and coach with a strong academic foundation and a passion for both teaching and athletics. After graduating from Jacksonville High School, he attended Tyler Junior College before earning his degree in History with a minor in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University. His love for history and sports guided him into education, where he could combine both fields to positively impact students’ academic and athletic growth.

Paul began his career at Alto High School, where he taught U.S. History, World History, and World Geography while also serving as an assistant football and baseball coach. His 24 years of experience in education have been marked by his commitment to developing well-rounded students, both in the classroom and on the field. His leadership and teaching approach have helped countless young athletes excel in sports while maintaining academic excellence.

Now entering his seventh year as the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Frankston, Paul continues to lead with dedication and enthusiasm. He is supported by his wife, Laurie Gould, and their three children, Julianna, Jenna, and Bradlee, who are an important part of his life. Paul's passion for education, family, and athletics has made him a respected figure within the FISD community, where he strives to create a positive impact for future generations.
